The project creates a meeting point for multiple generations to revitalize the park surrounding the Rucka manor. The installation consists of a wooden scaffolding for five nearly 4m high swings with seating elements and planters inbetween. This provides new opportunities for resting, playing or meeting others.

The building costs of the project could be reduced to under 13.500 € due to the use of actual building waste in the construction. The formwork for concrete tiles was made out of old warderobe elements (collected from Clean R building waste management facility), also, the decorative wooden pieces in the seating surfaces are leftovers from former building works. Many surfaces as well as the swing seats are cladded with used synthetic football grass. Additionally to the benefit of material reuse, the grass also perfect for softening hits and improves the sitting comfort in swings during winter time. Lastly, the planters are constructed from leftovers of a fire at the Rucka manor.

The project was built in collaboration with @ruckaresidency in the framework of public art program KOPA by @latviancentre4contemporaryart which is financed by @kulturas_ministrija
