The stage “Misijas” was placed close to the pond at the castle park in Cēsis to host several discussions during the two days of the Lampa festival. A rented scaffolding, mainly used at construction sites, was used as the structural base for the stage. Uncut, 6 meter long wooden laths were used to shield the stage to the sides and back and frame it visually. They were inserted in differing angles and tied in place, resulting in a waved silhouette. The timber was tied with yellow rope to the scaffolding which was previously used in the installation “Library of Urban Treasures”. Polycarbonate sheets placed on standard construction beams of different heights were used as roof. The timber and polycarbonate were processed as little as possible to preserve their value. This way all of the material can be reused in the construction of the garden pavilion at Rucka manor a few months later.
